Prepare for the unexpected...

During class (Monday) we created several stories with objects that we had. Several stories were dull and others were more creative. The Purpose of this exercise, I believe, was to identify what we were capable of doing in a short period and how much creativity we could accomplish. Also, When every one mentioned their stories some were really long and made no sense. This exercise really gave me an idea of how prepare I have to be when I have my own job.

Milton Glaser: To inform and Delight:

On my way to this event all I though was “I am going to be late!”, the traffic was horrible and all I could do is sit in traffic and wait for the cars to move. Once I was there I had to find parking and once again I thought “I am going to be late!”. Then I was there and all I found where empty chairs and a white screen with no movie and empty chairs. My first reaction was “O.M.G… I am late….yet again, I wasn’t” so I thought they ended up early. So then after seeing that there was no movie, I decided to look around the small gallery of the movie “Where the while things are” and found it to be worth it at least. Later, The next class meeting I found out that they couldn’t find the DVD which explained a lot.
