Mind mapping...idea mapping
"The easiest path for a fresh idea is thought an open mind"
This quote really captured my attention during class because everything that surrounds ideas has the "open mind" thought. Somehow I also noticed that I’ve been thinking of this whole “outside the box” concept. Being able to ask questions, trial, and test is what I’ve notice people fear the most. Jimmy also mentioned that People are in a way "afraid" to fail which leads to not practice (trial and failure) Failing is not a bad thing but many people are afraid of being judge by others, why? Someone might ask, well I think that we live in a superficial industry/society specially living in LA. Most of the people are trying not to be judge as dumb or as outsiders but why should being an outsider be considered bad? Connecting this with class we as art majors have to be able to have an open mind like this quote mentions because this is a key element for idea creation.
